But if you’re one of those goody-goody do-gooders that keeps your head in the sand over all things villainous, then maybe you don’t know! And that won’t do… no, that won’t do at all.

So take that head of yours out of the sand, kind and gentle citizens of this world, and drag your eyes down to the glorious image presented before you. This, oh quivering mass of humanity, is the cover to Villain Takes All #1…

Written by Mike Exner III, with lineart by Kendall Goode, colors by Mark Dale and letters by Micah Myers, Villain Takes All is not your basic, average or plain superhero comic… in fact, superheroes need not apply. This comic is all about the villains. From Comixology’s own description of the issue:

Amp is brand new to the supervillain game. Young, powerful, but woefully inexperienced, he holds a secret that grants him an invitation few in his position ever have…

Leviathan, the most powerful villain in the world, has put out the word. He’s looking for the ideal candidate to add to his criminal empire. Villains, from shadowy assassins and diabolical geniuses to professional thieves and even bungling lackeys, arrive from around the world to compete with one another for the privilege. Each challenge, whether physical in nature or not, is to the death. Only one will be left standing in the end.

And that Villain Takes All.

Hmm. Well, young and powerful sounds nice… but woefully inexperienced? We feel a little woeful about Amp’s chances of making it out of this limited series alive. But what we don’t feel bad about is your chances of enjoying the first issue of Villain Takes All! So click the cover image above, and slink on over to Comixology to get a copy for yourself. Just don’t go trying to steal it… we’ve got enough villains to handle already!
